Here are some helpful tips to keeping your nails healthy and beutified 24/7!
- Treat yourself to a manicure or pedicure at least once every two weeks. Average nails grow 1/8 of an inch every month.
- File nails whenever chiped or broken. Only side to side never on top (unless using a buffer) or up and down. You can eat up at some of your nail layers.
- Use nail base whenever applying any nail color to your nail in order to prevent staining.
- After a mani or pedi use a glossy top coat in order to make polish last longer every 2-3 days.
- Use acrylic or gel on nails if working with water all the time. helps prevent polish or nails from cracking.
- Always use a cuticle nipper to nip away any hang nail that may appear, due to the fact that if pulled it can cause pain and even an infection. (ouch!)
- Remember to always wipe nails with acetone (nail polish remover) before applying any polish to remove any oils from your nail so it wont chip off within 1-2 days.
